Lynda has worked extensively in the UK and Ireland as a Senior Podiatrist since qualifying with a BSc. (Hons) Podiatry from University College Salford in 1993, specialising in treatment of higher risk groups, such as diabetes and arthritis sufferers.
Joining the Dublin Podiatry Clinic in 1999, Lynda also held the position of Senior Podiatrist at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire for seven years, providing podiatry care to people with spinal injuries, brain injuries, multiple sclerosis (MS), peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and diabetes.
With extensive experience in all areas of footcare, Lynda is a specialist in the treatment of fungal nail disease and with her friend and colleague, Carol Leeman, founded Dublin Nail Laser Clinic. Lynda also finds the time to be married and loves nothing more than getting stuck into a good, old fashioned thriller, book or film variety!
Carol Leeman qualified from the Northern Ireland School of Podiatry in 1992, with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine, followed by a degree in Podiatry from Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh, and also has a Certificate in Health Education.
Carol worked in the NHS for 9 years, holding a post as a senior podiatrist specializing in diabetes care before moving to Dublin, joining the Dublin Podiatry Clinic in 2001. She has also been chair of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrist, Ireland.
Carol’s experience complements Lynda’s, having worked in areas as diverse as biomechanics, orthotics and acupuncture and together, they have founded Dublin Nail Laser Clinic.
Outside of work, Carol is married and loves cycling and walking the highways and byways of the Irish countryside and beyond. She’s also known to thoroughly enjoy a good rugby match!
